Projects An organic farm aiming at self-sufficiency An organic farmhouse in the heart of Tuscan Maremma Welcome to the Tuscan paradise, where our organic farmhouse will bring you depth into the nature and the time slowing down. Our projects starts here! Every corner will tell you a story of love and sustainability. In the lavender field you can be surrounded by colors and fragrancy and be a part of suggestive workshops. We trust in rediscover the value and the taste of ancient grains Tuscany native varieties. For the same reason last year we have planted nearby the old groves few hundreds new olive trees to increase the organic production of Tuscan DOP oil. During fall the chestnut grove will deserved wonderful color and tasteful chestnuts. Farmwork! Your browser does not support the video tag. Ancient grain, Furat! We offer our guests the opportunity to immerse themselves into an authentic farm life, where they can go back to living everyday following the rithm of nature. In our fields, we cultivate with passion and respect this variety, preserving the Tuscan natural heritage. From tillage to sowing, every bean is cultivated with love. At the end summer’s end we harvest and we carry to our neighbouroud miller to be stone grinded and to be ready for our wonderful bread. In our shop you can find a taste of our flour Furat, “type 00” in small bags: 1 kg or 5 kg. The lavender field The project was born second half of 2023, with preparation of area and the set-up of about 5400 joung lavender buds! Very soon this field will surround everyone will pass trough, with colors and scent in summer period, between June and August. Pay a visit in, a lavender field in bloom it means have got a truly sensorial journey, deeply into fragrance so good that hardly will be forgiven! Since the lavender will be grown it will be possible to got special product made by it. Soap, honey, essential oil. Olive Grove When we arrived here the olive grove was abounded since a while! At least 10 years! After the first ardverst in Novembre 2022 from witch we have produced our very first olive oil, named AUSPICIO (in Italian language it means Auspice, hope) we have done a significant pruning thanks to our friends from Franciacorta. By the way, you can taste and buy our oil during your stay. To improve prespectivly capability of the field, in February 2023 we have proceeded to install a new set of young olive trees next to the old one. Chestnut Grove Part of our property is covered by and old Chestnut Grove, specifically tuscanian chestnut known as Monte Gusciani variety. This fields need to be refurbish and to be prune properly after a long period of abandon. We will start this heavy stuff starting from Autumn 2024. Work in progress!
